Herff Jones Go Green Initiatives

• Herff Jones is excited and proud to offer our ReNew gown fabric, which is recycled from post-consumer plastic bottles. This graduation gown fabric alternative provides a second use for PET (polyethylene terephthalate) material that would otherwise become part of a landfill.
• Herff Jones gowns are cleaned with an environmentally-friendly solvent (DriSol), and recovery dryers are used which capture 90% of used solvent - significantly higher than EPA guidelines.
• Each student order is individually marked, packaged and shipped in recycled or recyclable products to minimize waste.
• ISO certification reflects our commitment to environmental leadership and shows our ability to successfully manage our environmental performance.
